Slightly more success...well, emphasis on slight. Much fun to behold though should you not care about getting yogurt all over yourself, the floor, the dog, and whatever else should be around.

Food, to a baby, is an artistic medium. Kind of like crayons, only gooier. It's not hard to get babies to use spoons, spoons are great tools for flinging food or beating on the highchair tray. The concept of using a spoon to put food in your mouth when your hands work just fine is foreign to them. That's what's so great about watching kids grow up. You remember what you forgot you had to learn.
Adorable and charming! I agree with Joan about the food-flinging (still fun in your 20s and 30s). Spoons also make good mirrors, bitty shovels, and hilarious nose pieces.
