All's Well That Ends Well Update

Evelyn's surgery today went quite well. It was very quick, and Evie seems to be recovering nicely. And, as you can see, she loves the get-well balloons Grandma Joan and Grandpa Rich sent her. (Sophia loves them, too.)

I'm so glad Evie's home and doing well!
I see the books are still in the bookshelves. How many times a day do you have to restack those? I don't think we had books on the bottom half of our shelves for years. Come to think of it.. we still don't. It's all kid stuff!

Duh...I didn't think to check here to see how things went! I'm glad everything is ok....

And I thought the same thing that rug's did about those books....

Whew! That's such a relief.
I'm glad she likes the balloons we sent. I hope they help keep her mind off her soar bottom.
Tell her not to get too much bigger before we get there.
Kiss both girls for Grandma Joan.

The trick with the books: We crammed as many books as we possibly could onto the shelves, shoving in thinner and thinner books until there was no way we could get another book in there. Thus, the books are jammed in so tight the girls aren't strong enough to pull them off. (And neither is Mommy, but I guess that's an acceptable trade-off.)
