Hospital Hijinks and a Couple of Corn Dogs

We had our semi-annual visit to the Shriners Hospital today, followed by our traditional lunch at Hot Doug's. All was well on both fronts. The girls are healthy and strong, as proven by their x-rays and examinations, and the hot dogs were as delicious as always.

The girls got a good look at their x-rays today, and they were entranced. Who knew looking at pictures of bones could be so fun? We saw leg bones, back bones, toes, teeth, and so much more, all in excellent condition. The girls can't wait to go back and see more x-rays. (Let's hope all of their x-ray experiences are this positive.)

Fun fact: Sophie now weighs more than Evie (28 pounds to 27 pounds), but Evie is taller by about an inch.

Beautifying our exam room.

Killing time. Why is it that specialists always make you wait in the exam room for so long??

Everything is a drum.

Weighing the animal companions.

Weighing ourselves.

That mirror -- it's enchanting!

Pretty girls.

Wanna bite?

No way -- we're not sharing.

I'm glad everything is OK.
They must have been the cutest patients there.

It's amazing to see how much they've changed just since November. Glad the exams were smooth sailing. I had a corn dog yesterday too!

I'm with RB. I can't believe how big they are! And I love the jaunty flowers.
