Van Oss Family Reunion Picnic

We had a great time at the excellent Holland State Park for a beach picnic with members of the extended Van Oss clan. Sophie and Evie had too, too much fun playing in the sand with their cousins Lizzy, Allison, Laura, Katie, and Hilary, which meant Mom and Dad were free to relax and chat with family. The best of both worlds!

After the festivities, we spent the evening in the lovely Holland home of our lovely cousins Barb and Dan, who were kind enough to extend their hospitality to us. We hope we didn't do too much damage to their plumbing so they'll let us stay again next time! Dan took this picture of us (with some squirmy, squirmy girls) right before we hit the road back to Chicago:
