Checking In at the ISCU

After the appointment, we were lucky enough to catch Hildi, the twins' former ISCU physical therapist, and then Mary, their primary daytime ISCU nurse. Mary and Hildi were great resources, sympathetic ears, moral support, and friends during our long stay at the ISCU. It was great to catch up with them.

Of course, we didn't have the camera with us. But we did manage to use the ISCU's Polaroid to get a shot of Mary:

It must be very gratifying for the health care workers to see how those tiny preemies have grown in to two healthy, happy, and active (very ative)toddlers.

It delays burn-out. It's so important for them to see that their work has such good results.
I'm glad you do this! The girls are an amazing gift.
