At The Glen

The Glen in Glenview was once a naval air station, but the land has been repurposed for civilian use. In addition to a mall, movie theaters, and tons of swanky housing, The Glen features some pretty fantastic park district facilities. We met up there with Joanna and Alejandro today for some fun in the sun. Despite all the awesome playground equipment, the hedge maze, and the porch swings, all three kids were more interested in gathering rocks, piling them up, and throwing them when they thought the adults weren't looking. I swear, I'm never buying these kids another toy. It's rocks from now on.

Exploring the hedge maze.

Swinging: Sophie, Evie, and Alejandro

King of the mountain!

Sophie explores.

Evie considers the slide.

Sophie gathers rocks.

Evie sorts rocks.

Taking a break.

Alejandro tames the fierce crocodile bench.

Pepper awaits our return, not so patiently.

Looks like a great time was had by all - except Pepper.
