The girls' neonatal intensive care unit (or ISCU, as they call it) had their annual reunion party today. All of the ISCU graduates are invited to come eat snacks, catch up with ISCU staff, and play on a wide array of bouncy equipment. We ran into Julia, who was the girls' primary nighttime nurse. It was nice to catch up with her and talk about our healthy, happy girls. Julia said that while the girls are certainly bigger than they used to be, she thinks they look exactly the same as they did back in their ISCU days. I happen to agree.
This was the first year the girls were big enough and mobile enough to enjoy the many activities available at the ISCU party, giving Mom and Dad our first taste of waiting in too-long lines with obnoxious kids running around and cutting in front of us (bringing other obnoxious kids to mind). Good times, good times.

What a cool idea! Must be nice for the staff to see all these healthy happy kids.
